Metapol- XL tablet contains extended release Metoprolol Tartrate, a beta blocker that acts by reducing the heart rate & force. It is usually prescribed for high blood pressure, heart pain, increased heart beats & many other non-cardiac conditions.

The main side effects are tiredness, dizziness, depression, diarrhoea, shortness of breath, slow heart rate and rash.
